After much anticipation, the CMT Music Awards are going to be held tonight. The fan-voted Country Music Awards show will air Sunday Live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. (ET). Kelsey Ballerini and Ken Brown are returning to host the CMT Awards 2023. This is Kelsey Ballerini's 3rd and Ken Brown's 4th hosting at the CMT Awards, and both are 29 years old.

The program will begin with a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute performance by Gary Clark Jr. In addition, the stage of the program will be more mature Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, and Shania Twain will perform on this year's CMT Awards night. Also hosting will be Kelsey Ballerini and co-host Ken Brown. The Jagged Little Pill singer, 48, will make her CMT Music Awards debut performing "You Outta Know" alongside Ingrid Andres, Wilson, Madeleine Edwards, and Morgan Wade to celebrate the 10th anniversary of CMT's Next Women of Country franchise. Meanwhile, Stefani, 53, will also be celebrating her debut performance alongside Carly Pearce.

Billy Gibbons, Chuck Level, Cody Johnson, Paul Rogers, Slash, and Warren Haynes will pay tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member Gary Rossington following his death in March. LeAnn Rimes and Wynonna Judd join the tribute as The Honkettes play.

Ballerini and Brown (along with his wife Caitlin) will also take the stage at the awards show. Other performers include Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson, and Keith Urban. The awards show will also feature rising country stars including Megan Moroney, Jackson Dean, Nate Smith, Lily-Rose, Avery Anna, and Chappell Hart on the Ram Trucks Side Stage.
