The government of Saudi Arabia is planning to build a 'dazzling' city near Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. A square (cube) shaped skyscraper will be at the heart of the city, wrapped with all modern amenities and luxuries. This 400-meter-high building is named 'Mukab'.

The planned city will be located northwest of the center of Riyadh, covering an area of 19 square kilometers. It is said to be the largest modern city in the world when construction is completed. If all goes well, it will be finished by 2030.

There will be 1 lakh 50 thousand flats for living in the city. There will be 9 thousand of hotel rooms. The shop will be 9 lakh 80 thousand square meters. The various offices will be spread over an area of 1.4 million square meters. 6 lakh 20 thousand square meters of space can be used for entertainment. And there will be 1 crore 80 lakh square meters of space for social services.

Recently, the Saudi government released a video of this project. According to the information provided there, the entire city will have a museum, a technology and design university, a theater, and more than 80 entertainment and cultural centers. Transportation will be completely self-arranged. It takes only 20 minutes to reach the city from the airport.

The Mukab building in the heart of the city will have the same length, width, and height—400 meters. The box-shaped building would be so huge that 20 buildings would fit inside it, like the Empire State Building in New York City, USA. After construction, it will be one of the largest infrastructures in the world.

Muba will not lack modernity, technology, and grandeur. The modern design building will have a dome-shaped tower inside. The inside of the tower will be covered with a huge curtain. Various video images will be displayed on that screen through virtual reality and digital technology.
