[Live Stream] XFL Football Week-2 Arlington Renegades VS Houston Roughnecks 2023

The Arlington Renegades and Houston Roughnecks will face off in Week 2 of the XFL season. Both teams are coming off of losses in their opening matchups and will be looking to bounce back and get their first win of the season. The Renegades will be led by quarterback Phillip Nelson, while the Roughnecks will be led by quarterback P.J. Walker. Both teams have strong defenses and potent offenses and this matchup could be an exciting one. These two teams had wins in Week 1 heading into Saturday's game. The Renegades defeated the Las Vegas Vipers 22-20 in the first game of the XFL season. As for the Roughnecks, they handled the Orlando Guardians with ease as head coach Wade Phillips sure knows how to coach a football team. Houston enters this game as the favorite as it has its second straight home game. The Orlando Guardians are coached by head coach Marques Sullivan and feature a mix of NFL veterans and XFL newcomers. Both teams have been practicing hard and are ready to get out on the field and show what they can do. This matchup promises to be an exciting one for XFL football fans everywhere.

Let’s take a closer look at both teams and this matchup. The Arlington Renegades have a few key injuries coming into this game. Wide receiver Josh Crockett is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury while running back De'Veon Smith is listed as doubtful with a shoulder injury. The Renegades are also missing key defensive players such as defensive end Avery Moss and safety Quin Blanding due to injuries. The Houston Roughnecks have a few key injuries of their own. Wide receiver Cam Phillips is out for this game due to a hamstring injury, while running back Andre Williams is listed as questionable with a knee injury. They are also missing defensive end Kony Ealy due to a concussion. The Arlington Renegades and Houston Roughnecks will face off in an exciting matchup in Week

Why Renegades can spread:

Drew Plitt started Week 1 for the Renegades and threw for 172 yards on 25 attempts. He threw well and completed 19 passes but had one interception. This is another team like San Antonio that likes to run the ball down their throats. Devon Smith carried it 15 times for 42 yards and led the team in carries and yards. Keith Ford carried it nine times for 24 yards and then Platt for 16 yards. Sal Cannella had seven catches for 70 yards and Tyler Vaughns had four catches for 38 yards. Even though they held off a solid pass game from Vegas, it was the defense that won them the game. It will be a tough task to take down a well-coached team on this side that looks to have an elite defense.

Houston scored just 12 points in the win over Orlando. They allowed two touchdowns but did not allow the Guardians to convert the extra point. This allowed them to cruise to victory as their offense was overwhelmed by Orlando. Brandon Silvers played the best in Week 1 outside of A.J. McCarron threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He had two interceptions, but they did not affect the game at all. If he can control the turnovers, they should be on their way to victory again.

Max Borghi carried it eight times for 42 yards and a TD to lead the team. Dejun Lee had six carries for 25 yards and Cole McDonald had four carries for 14 yards and a score. Former USC standout Deontay Barnett had a huge game in Week 1. He had eight catches on 12 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown. Jontre Kirklin had one game with five catches for 71 yards and a score. Travel Harris had five catches for 48 yards. Borji also caught four passes for 32 yards. This group is scary.
